Our Mission
At WisdomOrbit, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs and business owners with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed in the digital economy. We understand that starting and growing an online business can be overwhelming, with countless tools, platforms, and strategies to choose from. That's why we've dedicated ourselves to cutting through the noise and providing clear, actionable guidance.
We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality business information, regardless of their background or budget. Our goal is to be the trusted resource you turn to when making important decisions about your online business.
Our Story
WisdomOrbit is a publication of Daimon Media, a digital publishing company based in Utrecht, Netherlands (KVK: 74019961). We focus on creating high-quality educational content for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
WisdomOrbit launched out of a simple observation: most online business advice falls into one of two buckets — thin generic articles that recycle the same surface-level points, or institutional finance content written for professionals rather than operators. We wanted a publication that sits in between — specific enough to actually help a decision, accessible enough to read without a finance background.
WisdomOrbit is led by its founder and editor-in-chief, Jonathan Alberto, who also founded our publisher, Daimon Media. Jonathan sets WisdomOrbit’s editorial standards and reviews its money and small-business guides for accuracy before they publish. The day-to-day research is done by a small team of topic researchers, but Jonathan is the named person accountable for what goes live. The publisher is Daimon Media, registered in Utrecht under KVK 74019961.
How the Publication Operates
Each guide is drafted by a topic researcher, fact-checked against primary sources, and then reviewed by Jonathan before it publishes. Articles carry the WisdomOrbit Editorial Team byline for the drafting work, with Jonathan Alberto named as the reviewing editor — so there is always a real, accountable person behind the money guidance on this site, not an anonymous brand. When a rate, fee, or product detail changes, the guide is updated and its “last updated” date reflects the change.
Topic verticals
- Business & Finance — small business lending, credit products, business banking, startup funding, accounting and bookkeeping tools, debt and credit-rebuild paths, LLC formation and business legal structure.
- Technology — web hosting, website builders, ecommerce platforms, CRM software, SEO tools and the broader tooling layer small businesses run on.
- Insurance — auto, life, home warranty, Medicare, dental coverage, and business liability lines, with a focus on policy mechanics over carrier marketing.
- Marketing — email, paid search and social, affiliate, dropshipping, and the channel-and-tool decisions small teams have to make first.
- Personal Finance & Legal — personal loans, credit cards, mortgage and VA loan products, structured settlements, and a small set of legal topics that intersect with consumer financial decisions.
How research is sourced
The editorial process for each guide starts with primary sources where they exist — carrier or lender published terms, regulator filings (Federal Reserve releases, CFPB data, state insurance department market conduct reports), platform documentation. Secondary sources (industry reports, established trade publications) are cited where they add useful context. Generic SEO content from competing sites is not a source.
For comparison guides, we read the actual policy or terms of service of each option side by side rather than relying on roundup posts elsewhere. For tooling guides, we run the products through a representative workflow rather than only summarising the marketing site.

Our Editorial Standards
We take our responsibility to our readers seriously. Here's how we ensure the quality and accuracy of our content:
Research-Based Content
Every article we publish is researched against primary sources — official documentation, provider pricing pages, government data, and feature lists — to ensure accuracy. Where we have not tested a product directly, we say so, and we rely on official, verifiable information rather than presenting second-hand claims as first-hand experience.
Regular Updates
The online business landscape changes rapidly. We regularly review and update our content to reflect current pricing, features, and best practices. Articles include publication and last-updated dates so you know how current the information is.
Transparent Comparisons
When comparing products or services, we use consistent criteria and clearly explain our methodology. We highlight both strengths and weaknesses, helping you make informed decisions based on your specific needs.
Fact-Checking Process
Before publication, our content goes through a review process to verify facts, check sources, and ensure clarity. We correct errors promptly when they're identified.
Editorial Independence
Trust is the foundation of our relationship with readers. While WisdomOrbit may earn commissions from affiliate partnerships and advertising, our editorial content remains independent.
- We never let affiliate relationships influence our recommendations
- Products are recommended based on merit, not commission rates
- We disclose affiliate relationships transparently
- Editorial contributors are not compensated based on affiliate performance
- We include products and services regardless of affiliate availability
How We Make Money
Transparency about our business model is important to us. WisdomOrbit generates revenue through:
- Affiliate Partnerships: When you click on certain links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you
- Display Advertising: We display advertisements from advertising networks on our site
This revenue model allows us to provide free content while maintaining editorial independence. We only partner with products and services we would genuinely recommend.
Our Values
- Honesty: We tell it like it is, even when it's not what you want to hear
- Accuracy: We verify our information and correct mistakes promptly
